Full-time, temporary for 3-6 months (terms vary based on position)

 $27.48 - $32.32 per hour depending on position (plus bi-weekly compensation allowance for health and welfare)

Victoria or Saanichton, B.C.

About The Roles

Elections BC is looking to establish a pool for general administrative positions in support of the 43rd Provincial General Election. Most work terms will run for three to six months and will be located at either our Victoria or Saanichton offices.

 

Available positions include, but are not limited to:

 

  •  Help Desk Support Clerk (IT)
    • Provides Tier 1 service desk and front-line IT support , manages IT hardware and software inventories

  • Voter Services Assistant
    • Provides administrative support to the vote-by-mail process, administers telephone voting, and prepares and receives vote-by-mail packages

  • Information Data Processor
    • Receives voter registration inquiries and determines registration status, monitors and processes data files, and conducts quality assurance

  • Senior Event Support Advisor 
    • Supports District Electoral Officers and their staff across the province with electoral event administration. Responds to inquiries related to event readiness activities, election procedures and systems

Please note that we are currently in election event-period, and staff are required to be fully in-office until the completion of the event at the end of October.
