Would you like an opportunity to help support British Columbia’s largest electoral event and uphold the integrity of the democratic system? If so, we want you to join us at Elections BC as we gear up for the 43rd Provincial General Election. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the first general election conducted under the Election Act using electronic tabulators to count ballots.

About the role

Compliance Auditors complete compliance audits and reviews on financial reports submitted by political participants reporting their financial activity during electoral events and annually. With the upcoming 43rd Provincial General Election, the Audit and Assessment team will be focused on ensuring the political participants involved in this election have complied with the electoral financing requirements under the Election Act.

Our ideal applicant will have an audit or accounting background with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience understanding complex legislation is ideal. This role requires clear communication, tact and the ability to conduct assessments that are sensitive in nature and could result in corrective actions in cases of non-compliance.

If you are seeking a role that values collaboration, offers meaningful work and emphasizes teamwork, integrity, creativity and respect, we look forward to your application.
